About Hello and welcome to The Littlest Cthulhuist Indiegogo campaign. My name is John Hidalgo. I was the writer, producer and director of the short films Ariel which finished up earlier this year and Cthulhu's Witnesses which was shown at the H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival in Los Angeles in 2013. The Littlest Cthulhuist will be my next film About the Film The Littlest Cthulhuist is a horror comedy short film that will be shot in mock documentary format. The film follows Lillian and her mother, Erica, as they wrestle with the discrimination they face in the public school system and their unique way of handling the situation. Origin of the Idea After Ariel finished shooting, we had a wrap dinner part at a local Indian restaurant. When we were leaving, Chevelle Munk, the daughter of Layla Beth Munk and Bret Munk who were both in the cast, told me "I want to make a movie with Sara." Sara was the lead in Ariel with whom Chevelle had made friends. This surprised me as Chevelle was usually very shy around me.
